Aims and Objectives
This course provides students with the skills and knowledge to become server administrators. A server administrator’s primary tasks include: Managing the server operating system, file, and directory services Software distribution and updates Profiling and monitoring assigned servers Troubleshooting Prepares a candidate for exam 70-646: Pro: Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator, and this counts as credit toward the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Server Administrator.
Target Audience
This course is intended for administrators and network professionals responsible for the administration of Windows Server 2008 and wishing to pursue Microsoft Certified Professional certification in Windows Server 2008.
Course Prerequisites
Before attending this course students must have completed their CompTIA A+ Certification and Network+ Certification or have equivalent knowledge.
