MCTS Configuring Windows 7

Aims and Objectives

This course will cover installation, configuration and mass deployment. In addition, configurations of the user interface, maintenance of systems, including monitoring for and resolving performance and reliability issues. Windows security features, network connectivity applications included with Windows 7, and mobile computing. Prepares a student for Microsoft Exam 70-680; TS: Windows 7, Configuring. Having passed this exam you qualify as a MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) and this counts as credit towards becoming a MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional).

Target Audience

This course is intended for administrators and network professionals responsible for the installation, deployment and maintenance of Windows 7.

In order to gain the most from this course, students must have gained the following certifications or have the equivalent knowledge:

  •  CompTIA Network+
