Aims and Objectives

To become a MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) To install and configure Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks. Install, configure and troubleshoot Active Directory Systems. Perform detailed Network Administration tasks.

Target Audience

Individuals seeking to develop expertise in the support, implementation and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2003 network environments and Windows XP Professional desktop operating systems. It is also for IT professionals seeking MCSA certification, either as a stand alone credential or as a stepping stone to MCSE.

Course Prerequisites

An MCSA candidate should have experience working with desktop and network operating systems.

This course is made up of the following courses:

Windows XP Professional - Installation, Configuration, and Administration.
Windows Server 2003 - Management and Administration.
Windows Server 2003 - Network Infrastructure, Implementation and Administration.
Microsoft Exchange 2003 - [Elective]
Administration and Support.
CompTIA Security+ - [Elective] Encompassing Communications, Infrastructure, Cryptography, Access Control, Authentication, and Operational security.
